Clark has gone through a topsy-turvy time in the Octagon so far, dropping losses to contenders, Jan Bƚachowicz, Aleksandar Rakić, and Ryan Spann. Sandwiched between those defeats, Clark picked up notable victories over Mike Rodríguez, Darko Stošić, and the aforementioned, Townsend.
