In the third installment of the “Toe The Line Fight Series” presented by BKFC, we will get a glimpse of the regional fight scene in the UK. January 16th will be the first venture overseas for the fastest-growing promotion in combat sports. With the change of scenery, fans should expect to see an entirely new talent pool filled with the United Kingdom’s top regional prospects.
September 26th, 2020 was the first presentation of “Toe The Line” that included nine fights on the card. One of the most exciting bouts of the night was the debut of Noah Cutter vs Kaine Tomlinson. Both men started off quickly, exchanging a barrage of straights and hooks with Cutter landing the first knockdown blow-a solid right hook. By the 90 second mark of the fight, Tomlinson found himself down again. Almost immediately after being stood up, the referee called the fight after a huge straight left from Cutter.
Another “Toe The Line” fighter from the second episode of the series that made a big impression was Bobo O’Bannon. The October 17th card included 6 bouts and twelve fighters all looking to make a name for themselves. When Mike Kyle toed the line against O’Bannon it seemed obvious that Kyle was the more physically fit fighter. After exchanging knockdowns O’Bannon proved that having heart is more important than having a bulging physique. After the end of round 2, Kyle was unable to make the call to round three and retired on his stool-O’Bannon gained a fan in me.
Both of these men won BKFC contracts and went on to fight in BKFC 14 & 15 respectively. As the promotion continues to grow and extend the depth of their fighter roster; expect the competition to become more fierce. Men and women alike from all around the world are looking to toe the line and claim their stake to bare-knuckle glory.
