An absolute war between two determined fighters, with the younger fresher
Max Griffin just being a little bit too much for the veteran and former
interim welterweight champion in Carlos Condit. Hard fight and a well-earned decision for Max Griffin. Griffin stated afterward that it was surreal
standing across the cage from Carlos Condit and seeing him do his
legendary scowl and natural-born killer game face.

Griffin stated that his plan was to take out Condit’s legs and not let
him move forward. He knew he had to put the pace on him. His
coach let him know that he was faster than Condit and he used his speed to his advantage.

Griffin was very happy with the victory and is still a fan of Carlos
Condit and in fact, he was trying to find him after the fight so that he could take a picture
with him but had heard that Condit had left the arena.
