Former title challenger, Lewis (23-7 1NC) is among the most exciting KO artists in the heavyweight division. He has delivered impressive KO finishes against Alexander Volkov, Marcin Tybura, and Travis Browne. Lewis also has a decision win over current top contender Francis Ngannou. Lewis now looks to earn his third straight victory and re-assert himself as a threat to the championship.
Conversely, Oleinik (59-13-1) is regarded as one of the more prolific heavyweight submission artists. His trademark Ezekiel choke submission has served him well over nearly 25 years competing in MMA. He has earned meaningful wins over Fabricio Werdum, Mark Hunt, and Mirko Cro Cop. Oleinik looks to add another top heavyweight to his resume and break into the UFC heavyweight top five for the first time in his vaunted career.
Unbeaten since returning to 185 lbs in 2017, Akhmedov (20-4-1) goes for his most important victory yet. Akhmedov has secured hard-fought wins over Ian Heinisch, Zak Cummings, and Tim Boetsch. Akhmedov has his sights set on taking out his first former UFC champion.
A former UFC middleweight champ, Weidman (14-5) returns to the 185-pound division ready to regain his place at the top. Weidman dethroned the legendary Anderson Silva for the middleweight belt in 2013. During his reign, he impressively defended his crown against Silva, Lyoto Machida, and Vitor Belfort.
