The July outing will mark ‘Minotouro{s}’ first outing since his knockout defeat to Ryan Spann at UFC 237 last May. UFC president, Dana White announced the rebooked pairing on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! show.

PRIDE FC middleweight Grand Prix winner, and former UFC light heavyweight best, Rua – currently holds bragging rights over Nogueira, curtesy of two unanimous decision wins at PRIDE FC Critical Countdown 2005, and UFC 190.

Since his professional debut back in November of 2002, the Curitiba native has scored career-highlight triumphs over ‘Cyborg’ Santos, Akihiro Gono, ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Alistair Overeem (x2), Ricardo Arona, recent UFC Hall of Fame inductee, the late, Kevin Randleman, Mark Coleman, Chuck Liddell, Lyoto Machida, Forest Griffin, Brandon Vera, and Corey Anderson.

‘Minotouro’ the younger brother of former interim UFC heavyweight best, ‘Lil Nog’ Nogueira is a renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu player – a 3rd. degree black belt.
