Making a short-notice promotional bow, Van Buran replaced talented grappler, Cynthia Calvillo – dispatching the aforementioned Souza. In January, the wrestling practitioner withdrew from a matchup with striker, Hannah Cifers – but is expected to make her second Octagon appearance against Torres in June.
